About the context:
- For every Saturday during the past year, many observant Catholics have assembled to pray together at the abortion mill on LaSalle and Division.
- This facility boasts the ability to abort 50 people per day.
- Our group has counseled women and encouraged them to keep their babies or give them up for adoption.
- Our group is still closely mentoring three pregnant women who will have babies within the next three months.
- Planned Parenthood calls the police every weekend, despite the reality that no laws have ever been broken.
- Every week, the police pull up in a patty wagon, remind us not to block the door, and leave.
- We know from monitoring the traffic every week that our presence has resulted in fewer customers for this facility. This is why they have asked Vi Daley to introduce this new law.

Nora Doherty is a hypocrite. This is a woman that insists that women should remain chaste until marriage and preaches in favor of abstinence only programs, yet birthed two children out of wedlock. Then, she uses her gender to her advantage when applying to law school, yet insists women and men are equal. Finally, she is quick to cite the Bible but overlooks the part where Jesus says, “let he who is without sin cast the first stone.” Nora Doherty is many things- a shamless self promoter, a hypocrite, a biggot, a loose woman-but a Catholic, she is not.
ReplyDeleteYou are 100% right my friend. I have the unfortunate displeasure of actually having to work with Nora. This poor excuse for a human, and even worse excuse for a "Christian" is a horrible, horrible person. Nora is proof that sometimes abortion may be a good thing. None would ever have to deal with her or her devil, bastard offspring.

ReplyDeleteI humbly ask you to re-examine the arguments you have made. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems like your post has failed to address the topic at hand. I'm sure you have valid points to bring up, which I would love to hear - but I think we can both agree that assaults on personal character is not a productive way to come to a better understanding of each other.
It seems like you harbor some misconceptions about Nora which you have unfortunately presented here in a quite forceful manner. In the interest of the reader, I feel obliged to respond to your assertions.
Nora is not a perfect person, nor does she claim to be anywhere in this post. She is just another deeply flawed person (as we all are) who is trying her best to stand up for what she believes is right.
Yes, she may have have made some mistakes in her life and broken her own strict moral code. But once she was pregnant, she made the tough decision to allow her children to live.
It most assuredly was not easy for her to stick to her morals in those situations, because we are all aware that there is a very easy way out. But rather than succumbing to the quick and easy path, she stayed true to her beliefs, which speaks to her strength of character under extreme duress.
I think we can both agree that character assassination is not a proper form of debate for civilized human beings; if you would care to present your views in a respectful and intelligent manner, I would be more than happy to engage in a meaningful discussion with you.

DeleteYou obviously do not know Nora. She has no morals and continually runs over anyone in her path that does not agree with her. I am not talking about religion...I am talking about in life. She is truly one of the worst people I have ever met and I pray for her so that one day she may have a positive impact on the people she meets and interacts with in this world instead of leaving a trail of hatred. If she spent a bit more time worrying about herself and improving herself instead of hurting the people around her, the world would be a better place. I feel awful for her children to be raised around that...especially without a father figure as God intended.
I agree with the first poster. When I knew Nora she had changed her name to "Mini" and was sleeping with a wealthy man nearly three times her age for money and designer clothing. She treated everyone as if they were below her. How is this relevant you may ask? Well when consuming information online I usually consider the source and being that the information above was provided by Nora or "Mini", I question its validity, as this woman is a known liar and opportunist.
