I have read the book and I have not ...Interesting. I have read the book and I have not seen the movie yet. It's ok to be disappointed in the ending but also, it's important not to romanticize martyrdom. You were given beautiful examples of martyrs. The author just put more effort into an emotional connection to a character that disappointed you. Why were you disappointed? Kind of just explore that. Just something to think about.
