I was at the seminar, and I can tell you that Dr. McGowan was misquoted in the article. What he actually said was, "I will help my kids to think morally by avoiding indoctrination, which is the least effective way to teach morality." He specifically noted that many religious parents encourage and allow their children to think for themselves.ReplyDelete
