ReplyDeletePornography is an addiction and requires pastoral sensitivtiy so a magnet may not be the way to address the needs of the person - and TOB is a teaching that needs pastoral application for the whole person. Our Christian vocation to live the gospel and bring the gospel to others means that our wounds are healed in Christ. Healing is integration of the three fundamental hunan dimensions: spiritual, social and the pscyhological. These are also dimensions that a Pauline application provides: mind, will, heart - body, mind, soul - Jesus Way,Truth and Life. Jesus truth is fidelity to the Father and our re-creation in God's image, Jesus Way is the following of Christ knowing that Jesus Life - grace - is the gift given freely (baptism, sacramental life, church, God's love) Then when we are weak, as St Paul says, then we are strengthed.
